resistive band Q: What should I wear for physical therapy treatment? A: You should wear comfortable workout clothes and shoes that you will be able to move freely in. It is important that you wear loose-fitting clothing to enable the therapist to examine and treat the injured area. Please bring shorts if you have a lower extremity injury or a spine condition. Bring or wear any sport- or work-specific shoes. You have the right. Just as you would choose your doctor, based on word-of-mouth from friends or family, you can choose your physical therapist. Once decided on West Physical Therapy, PC, it is your option to select your personal physical therapist from any of those in our group. The therapist you choose will manage the great majority of your care. Your therapist will meet with you and direct you in your care and determine if other practitioner's input may also assist you in your healing. This discomfort is usually short lasting and can be relieved with ice or rest. Any discomfort or concern can be discussed immediately with your therapist by phone and should be, at least, discussed at your next visit with your physical therapist.
